The DNP manual's progression section lists 135 hours for the first three FNP courses, against 120, 180 and 180 elsewhere, so settle the figure for your cohort with your faculty advisor. Every figure is broken down on the clinical hours guide.

Questions Troy students ask
Which Troy programs have me recruit my own preceptor?
The online MSN FNP and HINL tracks, the post-master's certificates, the DNP's 6000-level clinical courses, the RN to BSN and the Accelerated MSN's two preceptor courses. Troy's manuals say the student contacts the preceptor and faculty approve.
Is Troy's MSN FNP fully online?
Troy delivers the MSN through TROY Online, with faculty office hours online and on the Troy, Montgomery and Dothan campuses. Clinical hours happen in person with approved preceptors near you.
When do Troy's graduate nursing programs start?
Troy lists application deadlines of November 1 for spring, May 1 for summer and July 1 for fall. FNP courses run once a year in sequence, with NSG 6619 in the Fall.
